Scripture: “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” – Isaiah 40:31 (NIV)
Reflection: Life can feel overwhelming, and sometimes it’s hard to see beyond the fatigue, stress, or obstacles in front of you. But God promises strength for those who wait on Him. Waiting doesn’t mean doing nothing—it means trusting, leaning in, and drawing close to Him.
Isaiah 40:31 reminds us that when we place our hope in God, He gives us fresh strength. We may not always feel powerful, but His power works in us, enabling us to keep going when we’d rather give up.
You might be in a season where you feel exhausted or discouraged. Take heart—God sees you, and He’s ready to lift you up. His strength is greater than your weakness, and He promises to carry you through.
Personal Reflection Questions:
Where do you feel the most weary right now?
Have you been trying to handle life in your own strength instead of leaning on God?
What is one step you can take today to wait on the Lord and trust Him more deeply?
Prayer: Lord, thank You for being my source of strength. When I feel worn out and overwhelmed, help me to wait on You and trust Your timing. Renew my energy and give me courage to keep going. Let me soar on wings like eagles, confident that You are carrying me. Amen.
