Scripture: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” – John 14:27 (NIV)
Reflection: We all face seasons in life where the waves crash hard—grief, stress, confusion, or fear. The world offers temporary fixes: distractions, achievements, even denial. But Jesus offers something deeper, something lasting—His peace.

The peace of Christ isn't the absence of problems but the presence of God in the midst of them. When Jesus spoke these words, He was preparing His disciples for His departure. He knew trouble was ahead. Yet, He didn’t offer them a way out of suffering—He offered them Himself.
It’s easy to be overwhelmed when things feel out of control, but that’s precisely where Jesus meets us. His peace guards our hearts, settles our minds, and reminds us that we’re not alone.
Personal Reflection Questions:
What storms are you facing right now?
How can you invite Jesus into those situations today?
What does “peace” look like in your current season?
Prayer: Lord Jesus, You see the storm I’m in. You know the fears I don’t speak out loud. Right now, I choose to rest in Your promises instead of my anxieties. Fill me with Your peace—the kind that quiets the chaos and reminds me that You are near. I give my worries to You. Amen.
